Career so far

I started in Kimberly-Clark Professional working in Deployment and Transport Planning for five months, based in Brighton, arranging internal stock movements.

I then moved to the UK Customer Service Team for three months, processing orders and handling queries.

Then, I moved to the European Demand Management team in Reigate, where I analysed forecasts and sales trends and reported on their accuracy.

What do you do in your current role?

Right now, I'm in my final placement as a Collaborative Planner working with Asda. I'm a key interface between Asda's supply chain teams and our Supply Chain and Commercial teams.

I'll provide analysis to identify the phasing and scale of promotions and plans on how to execute them successfully.

I'll also identify key issues of events and insights into how we can improve the way we manage key events and work with Asda.

People will ask me to identify barriers and opportunities, so we can improve the supply chain efficiency between Asda and Kimberly-Clark. That could mean anything from reporting on KPI's and achievements against agreed targets, to managing monthly tactical discussions with Asda.

What's your greatest achievement?

I took part in The Times Leadership Challenge. That involved attending an internal assessment centre, from which I was selected to represent Kimberly-Clark Graduates in the challenge. My team got through to the semi-finals by demonstrating excellent team-working and leadership skills.
