Career so far
I started my Kimberly-Clark marketing career in Madrid. I was there for one and a half years before moving back to the UK for short stint in sales in the Boots CBU. Then, I came back into Marketing, running Fiesta KT and then onto Andrex as Brand Manager of premium, and took over as Marketing Manager two years later. Eventually, I moved out of marketing 15 months ago and love my new job and team.
What do you do in your current role?
I head up the category, customer marketing and business analytics team. Basically, I drive the shopper and category agenda internally and with our customers.
What's your greatest achievement?
Winning the Marketing Magazine 'rising star' award two years ago.
What have you been most surprised by?
The Spanish way of working. It's last minute and chaotic, but I loved every minute of it and learnt so much over there.
What's been the biggest challenge?
Moving to a new function and making the transition as a team leader. It has been a huge learning curve.
Where do you see yourself in three years?
Hopefully still progressing and developing myself and my team.
What advice do you have for interested graduates?
Make it happen. This is a great place with a fabulous culture, talented people – great people to learn from – and lots of opportunities to progress.
